The annual ACM Symposium on Cloud Computing (SoCC'17) brings together researchers, developers, users, and practitioners interested in cloud computing. ACM SoCC'17 is the 8th edition of the premier conference on cloud computing; it is the only conference co-sponsored by the ACM Special Interest Groups on Management of Data (SIGMOD) and on Operating Systems (SIGOPS). SoCC will be held in Silicon Valley, to foster connections between the academic and industrial communities operating in the cloud space. We solicit original contributions on all aspects of cloud computing. We particularly encourage submissions on the research, development, practice, and experience of cloud computing systems and data management. |

Parallel processing has become prevalent across the board. In order to continue a performance increase, innovative many-core architectures will be developed. Such systems, equipped with a significant higher amount of cores per chip than multicores, pose challenges in both hardware and software design. On the hardware side, on-chip networks, scratchpads, hybrid memory cubes, non-volatile and stacked memory, as well as deep cache-hierarchies, and novel cache-coherence strategies will enrich the current research areas. The ROME workshop is addressed to the new challenges in hardware/software co-design of runtime and operating systems in order to exploit the available performance as effectively as possible. |

Cloud and Trusted Computing (C&TC 2017) is the 7th International Symposium on Cloud Computing, Trusted Computing and Secure Virtual Infrastructures, organized as a component conference of the OnTheMove Federated Conferences & Workshops. C&TC 2017 will be held in Rhodes, Greece. The conference solicits submissions from both academia and industry presenting novel research in the context of Cloud Computing, Big Data, and IoT, presenting theoretical and practical approaches to cloud, big data, and IoT trust, security, privacy and risk management. The conference will provide a special focus on the intersection between cloud paradigm, big data analytics, and IoT integration, bringing together experts from the three communities to discuss on the vital issues of trust, security, privacy and risk management in Cloud Computing, shedding the light on novel issues and requirements in big data and IoT domains.
