NEW THIS MONTH! | IoTDI 2016 |
Title: | IEEE International Conference on Internet-of-Things Design and Implementation (IoTDI 2016) |
Abstract Deadline: | 2015-10-19 |
Submission Deadline: | 2015-10-23 |
Webpage: | http://conferences.computer.org/IoTDI/ |
Dates: | April, 4-6, 2016 |
Location: | Berlin, Germany |
Contact Email: | kunbai@us.ibm.com |
Synopsis: |
This conference offers an interdisciplinary venue to discuss challenges, technologies, and emerging directions in system design and implementation that pertain to the Internet of Things. Many sub-systems need to come together to address the needs of current and future applications. These subsystems extend from cloud back-ends to cyber-physical front ends. Reliability, security, robustness, correctness, and timeliness considerations in new medical, social, environmental, energy, and automation applications must be supported by advances in cloud resource management, network protocols, and smart embedded devices. |

Title: | Call for Participation in SOSP 2015 |
Summary: |
=========================================================== Call for Participation in SOSP 2015, SOSP History Day, and associated workshops =========================================================== On behalf of the Organizing Committees for SOSP 2015, SOSP History Day, and SOSP-associated workshops, we invite you to attend the 25th Symposium on Operating Systems Principles in Monterey, California, from October 4-7. We have a full day of workshops on Sunday, October 4th, and a strong program of SOSP papers from October 5-7. Because this is the 25th SOSP, we also have a special retrospective workshop, SOSP History Day, on October 4th. Of course, we also have social events planned: an opening reception Sunday evening, banquet Monday evening, and party on the beach in Monterey Tuesday evening.
