The Systems Lab (1 Viewing)
This is our main forum, for all sorts of postings associated with research, papers presented in conferences such as SOSP, OSDI, etc, testbeds like Planetlab, new research initiatives like the NSF GENI program, or whatever. If some topic like P2P or GENI gets overloaded we can always break it out as a separate forum later.

This is our "social hall", for discussion of any topic that isn't particularly research-related. You can ask or offer advice, speculate about the world series, whatever. Threads in other areas are sometimes reclassified into this area if they drift from their original topic.

This forum focuses on instructional issues arising at any level of systems course: ugrad, meng, phd, etc. Commercial postings are not appropriate, but discussion of textbooks and other materials is welcome as long as the goal isn't to sell books.

This forum is offered as a recruitment tool for those with positions to fill. Questions about jobs are welcome, but please don't post your CV here. If a job is filled, we would appreciate it if the originator could delete the posting.

This is an online journal. In contrast to a traditional journal, where work is reviewed first and then published, this forum permits anyone to publish an unreviewed paper, but offers readers an opportunity to comment on the published work. To avoid overloading our server, we recommend that you post the abstract of your paper with a URL to the PDF file for the paper itself on the server of your choice.
