| ASPLOS is the premier forum for multidisciplinary systems research spanning computer architecture and hardware, programming languages and compilers, operating systems and networking. ASPLOS 2019 will be held in Providence, Rhode Island, a historical city with modern University ties. Like its predecessors, ASPLOS 2019 invites papers on ground-breaking research at the intersection of at least two ASPLOS disciplines: architecture, programming languages, operating systems, and related areas. Non-traditional topics are especially encouraged. |
NEW THIS MONTH! | SoCC 2018 - Posters |
| Title: | ACM Symposium on Cloud Computing Poster Session - Poster Session |
| Submission Deadline: | 2018-08-10 |
| Webpage: | https://acmsocc.github.io/2018/posters.html |
| Dates: | October, 11-13, 2018 |
| Location: | Carlsbad, California, USA |
| Contact Email: | barisk@umich.edu |
| Synopsis: |
| The SoCC poster sessions showcase works-in-progress in an informal setting. Topics of interest are the same as the research topics in the SoCC conference call for papers (https://acmsocc.github.io/2018/papers.html). Accepted proposals will be published in the conference proceedings. While anyone can submit a proposal, preference will be given to posters where the primary contribution is from one or more students or from an industry/start-up organization. Students must present student posters at the conference. An award will be given to the best overall student and industry/start-up poster, judged during the conference. Submissions to the conference paper track are also automatically considered for a poster, so there is no need to submit a separate poster proposal. |
PPoPP'19 | |
| Title: | 24th ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming |
| Abstract Deadline: | 2018-08-13 |
| Submission Deadline: | 2018-08-20 |
| Webpage: | https://ppopp19.sigplan.org/track/PPoPP-2019-papers |

| Location: | Washington DC, USA |
| Contact Email: | htor@inf.ethz.ch |
| Synopsis: |
| PPoPP is the premier forum for leading work on all aspects of parallel programming, including theoretical foundations, techniques, languages, compilers, runtime systems, tools, and practical experience. In the context of the symposium, “parallel programming” encompasses work on concurrent and parallel systems (multicore, multi-threaded, heterogeneous, clustered, and distributed systems; grids; datacenters; clouds; and large scale machines). Given the rise of parallel architectures in the consumer market (desktops, laptops, and mobile devices) and data centers, PPoPP is particularly interested in work that addresses new parallel workloads and issues that arise out of extreme-scale applications or cloud platforms, as well as techniques and tools that improve the productivity of parallel programming or work towards improved synergy with such emerging architectures. |
