| Synopsis: |
| The MICRO Test of Time (ToT) Award Committee is soliciting nominations for the fifth MICRO ToT Award to be given at the International Symposium on Microarchitecture in October 2018, to be held in Fukuoka, Japan. This award recognizes the most influential papers published in past MICRO conferences that have had significant impact in the field. This year, the award will recognize an influential MICRO paper whose influence is still felt 18-22 years after its initial publication. Papers published at MICRO conferences held in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, or 2000 are eligible. An eligible paper that has received at least 100 citations (according to Google Scholar) is automatically nominated, but explicit nominations of such papers are still encouraged. Please visit the award web page for instructions on how to submit a nomination, a list of past award winners, and other information about the selection process. |
NEW THIS MONTH! | ASPLOS 2018 |
| Title: | 24th IEEE International Conference on Architecture Support for Programming Languages and Operating Systems (ASPLOS'19) |
| Abstract Deadline: | 2018-07-31 |
| Submission Deadline: | 2018-08-07 |
| Webpage: | https://asplos-conference.org |

| Location: | Providence, RI, USA |
| Contact Email: | jzhao@ucsd.edu |
| Synopsis: |
| ASPLOS is the premier forum for multidisciplinary systems research spanning computer architecture and hardware, programming languages and compilers, operating systems and networking. ASPLOS 2019 will be held in Providence, Rhode Island, a historical city with modern University ties. Like its predecessors, ASPLOS 2019 invites papers on ground-breaking research at the intersection of at least two ASPLOS disciplines: architecture, programming languages, operating systems, and related areas. Non-traditional topics are especially encouraged. |
NEW THIS MONTH! | PPoPP'19 |
| Title: | 24th ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming |
| Abstract Deadline: | 2018-08-13 |
| Submission Deadline: | 2018-08-20 |
| Webpage: | https://ppopp19.sigplan.org/track/PPoPP-2019-papers |
| Dates: | Feb 16 – 20, 2019 |
| Location: | Washington DC, USA |
| Contact Email: | htor@inf.ethz.ch |
| Synopsis: |
| PPoPP is the premier forum for leading work on all aspects of parallel programming, including theoretical foundations, techniques, languages, compilers, runtime systems, tools, and practical experience. In the context of the symposium, “parallel programming” encompasses work on concurrent and parallel systems (multicore, multi-threaded, heterogeneous, clustered, and distributed systems; grids; datacenters; clouds; and large scale machines). Given the rise of parallel architectures in the consumer market (desktops, laptops, and mobile devices) and data centers, PPoPP is particularly interested in work that addresses new parallel workloads and issues that arise out of extreme-scale applications or cloud platforms, as well as techniques and tools that improve the productivity of parallel programming or work towards improved synergy with such emerging architectures. |
