Poster Submission Information
As in previous years, SOSP 20 will host an interactive poster
session. Poster submissions will be peer-reviewed on the basis
of an extended abstract describing the poster. In addition to
selecting posters to be presented in the Poster Session, four
posters will be selected to make a more formal ten-minute
presentation in a plenary session of the symposium. Student
developed posters are eligible for the
SOSP
Student Research Competition.
To submit a poster, please:
- Write a 1-page extended abstract of the research to be
described by the poster,
- Place the abstract on the web as either a postscript or
PDF document, and
- Mail the URL for the document's location to the Poster
Session Chair, TBD.
The deadline for poster submission (registering a URL for a
poster's extended abstract) is TBD.
If you are do not have access to a web server on which to
post your abstract, you may email your abstract as an attachment
directly to the poster session chair.
Posters describing student research are eligbile for the
SOSP
Student Research Competition. Such posters should be
identified in the registration email to the poster session
chair.
Note: Students who are submitting posters as part of
the process of applying for a
travel scholarship, are required to have a draft of
their abstract completed by the scholarship application deadline
(TBD). (Note further that while a poster submission is
encouraged as part of the scholarship process, it is
not required.) Students who submit a poster to the poster
competition and apply to the scholarship program are free to
