Big Sky is a 45 minute drive from the Bozeman airport on US Highway 191 through the beautiful Gallatin River Canyon. Car rental and shuttle service is available.

Discounted Airport Shuttle
Karst Stage will be providing shuttle service for SOSP held at the Big Sky Resort, Montana. Their counter is conveniently located inside the passenger terminal just beyond baggage claim. Karst Stage serves all arriving and departing flights at Gallatin Field (Bozeman) Airport seven days a week, although they do not have a shuttle departing after every arriving flight. In order to offer a special conference rate a wait of thirty to forty-five minutes may be necessary in some cases. Reservations are required by 10/01/09 and should be made on the Airport Shuttle page on their web site www.karststage.com. NO other shuttle transportation is available at the Bozeman Airport without advance reservations. Inquiries can by made at firstname.lastname@example.org. The rate for SOSP is $60.00/person round trip or $40.00/person one-way if arriving on 10/09/09, 10/10/09 or 10/11/09 and departing on 10/14/09 or 10/15/09. Shuttles will be available for those arriving before or after the above stated guaranteed dates at a higher rate based upon the number of passengers in the same party. To qualify for the conference rate be sure to select SOSP from the drop list under the Group or conference box when you get a price quote to start your reservation on their home page. All online reservations will be confirmed by email. It is recommended that you print your confirmation letter, read it carefully for accuracy and take it with you when you travel. A major credit card is required to guarantee your reservations; your credit card will be charged at the time you complete your reservation online. Total trip cost paid online does not include a customary driver gratuity.
Please call their toll free telephone number (located in your email confirmation letter) if you encounter a delay or cancellation enroute to Bozeman. Check in at the Karst Stage counter immediately (before claiming your luggage) upon arrival at the airport. You will be issued a return ticket when you check-in with your pick-up date, time and location. Big Sky is 53 miles from the airport and the drive will take approximately one hour and fifteen-minutes. Your return shuttle will be scheduled to get you to the Bozeman Airport approximately 1¼ hours before your flight departs.
Cancellation policy: No penalty for shuttles cancelled 48 hours or more prior to departure from the airport. No refund will be issued for shuttles cancelled with less than 48 hours advance notice. Please call their toll free number if you are delayed, miss a flight or your flight is cancelled.
From the Bozeman-Big Sky Airport
Exit Gallatin Field making a right turn onto Hwy. 10 (also Frontage Road). Drive 1.4 miles west through the small town of Belgrade. Turn left onto Hwy. 291 (also Jackrabbit Lane). This road passes over Interstate 90 and becomes Hwy. 85 and then Hwy. 191 (also Gallatin Road). Once over I-90, proceed south 7 miles, go straight through the four-way stop light on Hwy. 191. Continue south on Hwy. 191 for 39 miles.
Yellowstone National Park
Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America's first national park. Yellowstone is home to a large variety of wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk as well as the the world's greatest concentration of geysers, all amidst the glorious backdrop of the Gallatin Range.
The northwest border of Yellowstone Park is only 18 miles from Big Sky. The actual gateway to Yellowstone at the town of West Yellowstone, MT is 47 miles south.
