PhD thesis award of French chapter of SIGOPS

ASF, the French local chapter of ACM SIGOPS is happy to announce that its 2018 award for the best PhD thesis in systems and networking of the past year honors the outstanding work of Boris Teabe. Boris has made significant contributions to improve the performance and QoS of OS schedulers in virtualized environments. He published his work in major international venues including ACM SIGOPS EuroSys. Boris did his PhD at INP Toulouse under the supervision of Professors Daniel Hagimont and Alain Tchana.

The PhD award is jointly granted by ASF and GDR RSD, French CNRS’s department in distributed systems and networking.
